Tractor Hydraulic Fluid is commonly referred to as THF.  It is a multi-purpose fluid used in agricultural equipment that has a centralized system to lubricate the transmission, differential, wet brake, power steering, and hydraulic systems.

THF also contains special additives for the wet brake systems to prevent brake chatter and provide smooth operation.

Our tractor hydraulic fluids can also be used as a gear oil when a GL-4 approved fluid is required.

When determining what type of tractor hydraulic fluid you need, the most common version is one that meets a J20C specification for summer use.  There are also low-viscosity THF’s that meet a J20D specification for winter / all season uses.  Always check your owner’s manual to determine which type of THF is right for your equipment.
